Jacob Labutka, as the Planning Manager at PSTA, leads a variety of planning projects such as the agency’s system redesign. He also leads the development of PSTA’s discretionary grant applications such as federal grants for buses & technology programs and state grants for operating support of new services. Jacob oversees several innovative transit programs such as PSTA’s previous deployment of the autonomous shuttle service AVA, the integration of PSTA’s first/last mile program into Transit App, and PSTA’s upcoming autonomous bus yard demonstration. Jacob is a graduate of Rutgers University where he earned a Master’s in City and Regional Planning.
