About me
Devan Deal is the Planning and Data Analyst Manager at Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority and holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida. At PSTA, Devan leads service planning analysis, performance monitoring, and data-driven reporting to support transit decision-making. His work includes overseeing new and existing bus services from concept through implementation, leading PSTA’s National Transit Database reporting, and presenting complex ridership, service, and operational data to executive leadership, committees, and the Board of Directors. He also served as Deputy Project Manager for the largest network change in PSTA’s history, helping implement an operationally cost-neutral redesign that expanded weekend service and span of service on an accelerated timeline. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring Florida’s natural areas through backpacking trips on the Florida Trail, paddle boarding, and other outdoor adventures.
