About me
Omar Peerzada is a Senior Planner for the Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART). Omar leads on National Transit Database (NTD) reporting and supports major planning projects and development review on behalf of HART. He has a background in transit operational analysis, collaborative governance, plan development, and has worked on a variety of transportation and land use projects throughout his career. Omar has worked on projects such as Transit Development Plans, Transit-Oriented Development studies, and has supported other planning projects for his agency and other agencies in the Tampa Bay Area.
Omar Peerzada holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Geography from the University of South Florida and a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University. Growing up in Hillsborough County, he enjoys making a positive impact on the overall livability and success of his community.
