About me
Jesus Peraza Garcia is the Manager of Planning for the Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART). Jesus leads in the development of HART's major planning projects and acts as an agency representative for projects impacting the Tampa Bay region. He holds a variety of skills including data analysis, transit operational analysis, transportation demand management, and multi-agency collaboration. He has worked on a variety of projects such as Transit Development Plans, Comprehensive Operational Analyses, and other work to ensure transit is successful in the region. He is also part of the APTA Emerging Leaders Class of 2027.
Jesus Peraza Garcia holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar and a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. He enjoys making a positive impact on his community in both professional and personal capacities.
