About me
Richard has been with the City of St. Petersburg for over twenty-three (23) years serving in the capacity of Airport Manager during this entire period. In this position, he is responsible for the daily operation and upkeep of the Albert Whitted Airport. This includes maintaining facility compliance with Federal, State and other aeronautical and safety standards, tenant relations and lease negotiations, capital program administration, facility planning and budgeting among other concentrations.
Prior to coming to the City, Richard was employed by Pinellas County at the St. Pete-Clearwater Int’l Airport. He served in numerous positions over almost nine (9) years, with his last as the Airport Operations Manager. Richard has a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He has been a resident of Pinellas County since 1984 and currently lives in Seminole with his wife and two (2) sons.
