About me
I am a proud mother of two daughters and a seasoned Miami‑Dade County transit professional with over 30 years of experience in operations, workforce management, and service delivery. I currently serve as Superintendent of Bus Operations, where I lead operator performance oversight, daily service execution, staffing, and policy compliance to ensure safe, reliable transit for our community.
My career spans roles in bus operations, rail maintenance administration, HR/payroll, traffic control, and emergency coordination giving me a well‑rounded perspective on the operational, technical, and human sides of our industry. I’ve supported teams of more than 200 employees, managed complex service responses, and built strong working relationships across bus, rail, and maintenance functions.
In addition to my County work, I’m actively involved in COMTO Miami. As the Annual Golf & Scholarship Chair, I’ve helped raise more than $200,000 in scholarships over the past five years. I also take great pride in working with youth at our annual Youth Symposium, helping inspire and support future transportation leaders.
With a degree in Public Administration and certifications in Lean Six Sigma, project management, budgeting, and communications, I’m committed to leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement both in our workforce and in the communities we serve.
